A funeral will be held Monday, February 14, 2022 for 73-year-old Donna Kay (Miser) Watson of Bismarck, Mo., formerly of Wood River, Ill. who passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Fountainbleau Nursing Center in Crystal City, Mo.
She was born July 10, 1948 in Wood River, Ill., the daughter of Donald Bruce Miser and Carolyn Miser, who both preceded her in death.
She married Jack Watson September 22, 1992. He survives in Bismarck.
She is also survived by a brother-in-law: Tom (Donna) Watson; two daughters: Ginger Warr of Meadowbrook, Ill., Stacy (Wesley) Frymire Schmidt of Hot Springs, S.D.; a sister: Betty Miser; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many family members and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a sister: Sue Greer.
Donna graduated from East Alton Wood River High School in 1966 and worked for various nursing homes in the area for over 35 years as an aide and CNA.
Donna loved to go to garage sales and play bingo.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon Monday, February 14, 2022 at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
A funeral for 73-year-old Donna Kay (Miser) Watson of Bismarck, Mo., formerly of Wood River, Ill. will be held at 12 noon Monday, February 14, 2022 at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve. Pastor Scott Jones will officiate.
Burial will be at Crestlawn Cemetery in Sainte Genevieve.
Memorials may be made to The Pentecostal Church of God in Bismarck.
