PERRYVILLE – The State of Missouri recognizes active service members and veterans who served in World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Operation Desert Shield, Operation Desert Storm, Operation Iraqi Freedom and New Dawn.
Four veterans: Dennis Bovey, U.S. Navy 1972-1992, Jerry Brandel, U.S. Army 1977-1996, Joseph Herschbach, U.S. Army 1968-1970, and Thomas Nations, U.S. Army 1972-1992, received their medallions from Capt. Roger Pleus (Ret.) at the Missouri Veterans Memorial earlier this month.
