MODOC, Illinois — The 2022 Eagle Fest event has been postponed due to the weather. “We apologize but the safety of everyone is our priority,” an official stated. “Currently we are working with our partners to find a suitable new date for everyone. Thank you for understanding and hope to see you soon.”
The event had been scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 5.
The Eagle Fest partners are: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Illinois Department of Natural Resources, Randolph County Economic Development, Lower Kaskaskia Stakeholders, Inc., Randolph County, Chester Tourism, North County Savings Bank, Evansville Booster Club, Horse Prairie Mutual/FarMutual, CLIFFTOP, Kaskaskia Valley Audubon Society, Prairie Du Rocher Chamber of Commerce, UNIFY, Gateway FS, Kaskaskia Regional Port District and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
