A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 1, 2022 for 48-year-old Kevin Lawrence Cremer of Festus who passed away Monday, January 24, 2022, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City.
He was born August 19, 1973, in St. Louis, the son of Donna Lee (Huck) and Donald Cremer of Festus.
He married Tonya Marie Conway July 27, 1996. She survives.
He is also survived by a daughter: Ashley (Jacob) Nolen of Crystal City; a son: Jacob Cremer of Festus; two grandchildren: Cooper and Marcella; a brother: Brian (Ellen) Cremer of Ste. Genevieve; a sister: Michele (Gerald) Primo of Crystal City; and numerous family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Cap and Lillian Huck.
He was a firefighter for 32 years.
He served as the fire chief for the Festus Fire Department and was retired from Central County.
He enjoyed fighting fires, golfing, hunting, barbecuing, smoking meats, traveling and spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren.
He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Festus.
A memorial gathering will be held from 3-8 p.m. Monday, January 31, at the Elks Lodge 1721, 4 Elks Club, in Festus.
A memorial service for 48-year-old Kevin Lawrence Cremer of Festus will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 1st, at the Festus Elks Lodge, officiated by Chaplain Kyle Castens.
Burial will follow at Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart.
Memorials may be made to the Festus Fire Department.
