A funeral will be held Saturday, January 29, 2022 for 83-year-old Shirley Anne (Naeger) Valle of Sainte Genevieve who passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022 at her home in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
She was born October 28, 1938 in River Aux Vases, Mo., the daughter of Leo A Naeger; and Dora Naeger, who both preceded her in death.
She married Jerome Valle April 4, 1959. He survives in Ste. Genevieve.
She is also survived by five daughters: Mary Kay (Rob Walsh) Bader of Sainte Genevieve, Mo., Paula (Jim) Valle of Sainte Genevieve, Mo., Julie (Jeff) Valle of Lake St. Louis, Mo., Dana (John) Jacobson of Sainte Genevieve, Mo., and Kara (Wes) Huffman of Bloomsdale, Mo.; two sisters: Kathleen (Larry) Schmidt of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. and Elizabeth (Bob) Palmer of Plano, Tex.; grandchildren: Jonathan (Kellie) Bader, Kaitlyn (Luke) Lukefahr, Nicholas Bader, Joshua Bader, and Benjamin Bader, Nicole (Lucas) Ressel, Curtis (Megan) Roth, and Heather (Daniel) Roth, Hannah (Nick Oberle) Viox, Owen Viox, Alex Viox, Isaac Viox, and Sophia Jacobson, Chase Huffman and Reid Huffman; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two sons: David Valle and Michael Valle and a granddaughter: Danielle Bader.
She was a member of the Ste Genevieve County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Christian Mothers Sodality, Sts. Philip and James Council, and a 4H Club leader.
She loved gardening, bird watching, and baking chocolate chip cookies for the grandkids.
Most of all, she enjoyed her Sunday lunches with the love of her life and all of the family.
Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the Sts. Philip and James Church in River Aux Vases, Mo.
A funeral for 83-year-old Shirley Anne (Naeger) Valle of Sainte Genevieve will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the Sts. Philip and James Church in River Aux Vases. The Rev. Edward Nemeth will officiate.
Burial will be at Sts. Philip and James Cemetery in River Aux Vases.
Memorials may be made to Valle Schools Foundation or to Sts. Philip and James Church.
