STE. GENEVIEVE – The Wood Family Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve has announced it will be ceasing operations in Ste. Genevieve as of Monday, January 31, 2022.
The doors will close after 50 years at the end of business on that day.
On the closing, Jeanette R. Wood, owner had this to say; “It has been our family’s humble honor to serve the community of Ste. Genevieve and the surrounding region. We can only say THANK YOU for the trust the community has placed in us over the years. When George and I purchased this business from the Stanton Family in 1972, we made a commitment to this community that we love, to be there for our friends and neighbors in their time of need and we accomplished that.”
Wood closed by saying “We are proud of our 50 years of service to Ste. Genevieve and the surrounding communities.”
