Mo GOP head comments on state of the state speech

JEFFERSON CITY — Yesterday, Missouri Republican Party Chairman Nick Myers released the following statement:

“This year, Missourians witnessed first hand the difference real leadership can have on their families and their communities. In Washington, Democrats have pushed forth a tax-and-spend agenda that has raised prices across the board, made it difficult to find basic goods, maintained a labor shortage, and lowered our wages.

“In Missouri, strong leadership and a steady hand from Governor Mike Parson has helped keep families afloat in uncertain times and dealt a blow to President Joe Biden’s big government socialism agenda. Thanks to Governor Parson’s leadership, Missouri continues to be a shining example for the nation as our economy surpasses Democrat-run states with low unemployment and strong recovery rates from the pandemic by creating an environment that appeals to businesses and encourages job creation.

“Whether it’s investments in early and higher education, making it easier for Missourians to get work through apprenticeships, certifications, and technical colleges, or fighting for broadband access for all, Governor Parson re-emphasized his administration’s mission to invest in Missourians in today’s State of the State.”
