PERRYVILLE – Three Perry County Fire Departments were assisted by the Chester Fire Department in battling a house fire on Route E in Perry County last evening.
According to reports, the fire was reported about 5:40 p.m. Thursday.
The Perryville, Perry County, East Perry County and Chester Fire Departments responded to the scene at 4447 Route E, also known as Allen’s Landing Road.
According to reports five persons were in the house at the time of the fire, and were able to get out.
The amount of damage and the cause of the fire has not yet been reported.
Authorities closed Route E while the battle to fight the fire was underway.
