A funeral will be held Saturday, January 15, 2022 for 77-year-old Wayne Aloysius Petot, of Perryville, Mo. who passed away Monday, January 10, 2022 in the comfort of his home.
He was born August 16, 1944 in Perryville, the son of Alves and Helen (Cerney) Petot, who both preceded him in death.
He married April “Kay” Heberlie in 1965 at St. Bonafice Catholic Church. She preceded him in death.
Survivors include two sons: Steven Petot of Florissant, Mo. and Daniel Petot of St. Louis, Mo.; a daughter: Kimberly Petot of Perryville, Mo.; and a brother: Dale Petot of Arnold.
He was also preceded in death by a brother: Roland Petot; two sisters: Thelma Robinett, and Madonna Bruce.
Wayne was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Church.
Wayne loved to garden, collect antiques, woodwork, fish, camp, and spending time outdoors. Most of all Wayne enjoyed spending time with his family.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, January 14, 2022 and 8-9:30 a.m. Saturday, January 15, 2022 at the Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
A funeral mass for 77-year-old Wayne Aloysius Petot, of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 15, 2022 at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville with Fr. Joe Geders C.M. officiating.
Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.
