Chester Chamber of Commerce cancels board meeting due to COVID

CHESTER — The Chester Chamber of Commerce has announced the board meeting scheduled for Tuesday, January 18th has been cancelled due to the increase in COVID related illnesses in the area.

The next event on the schedule is February 15th for the lunch/meeting program.  Jeremy Walker is slated to speak at that event. 

“We will continue to monitor the ongoing health concerns and will make a decision on that event closer to the date it is scheduled,” the notice posted to Facebook stated. “As you all know, the horse races have been postponed from the scheduled date of January 21st.  If you have already sent in a check to reserve your table at the event, Bruce Luthy will be contacting you directly.”
