JEFFERSON CITY — The number of new COVID-19 cases in Missouri rose slightly between December 21st and the 25th according to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Service.
The seven day total of confirmed and probable cases for the period ending December 25 was 22,082 an increase of about 7.5 percent over the seven days ending December 21st.
The average number of confirmed and probable cases per day was around 3,155.
The number of confirmed and probable deaths during the period was 23.
The vaccination rate in Missouri is 53.6 percent for those who have completed the vaccination series.
Perry County had 45 confirmed and probable cases for the week ending December 25, a six percent decline compared with the seven days ending December 21st.
That’s a daily average of 6.4 new cases a day.
There were no deaths during the period.
The vaccination rate in Perry County is 39.1 percent.
Ste. Genevieve County had 43 new confirmed and probable cases during the seven days ending December 25th, a 30 percent decrease over the seven days ending December 21st.
That’s an average of six new cases a day.
There were no deaths during the period.
