JEFFERSON CITY — The number of new COVID-19 cases in Missouri rose slightly between December 17th and 19th according to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Service.
The seven day total of confirmed and probable cases was 19,928, an increase of about six percent.
The average number of confirmed and probable cases per day was around 2,846.
The number of confirmed and probable deaths during the period was 34.

Perry County had 44 confirmed and probable cases for the week ending December 19th, a two percent decrease over the seven days ending December 17th. That’s a daily average of 6.3 new cases a day.
