Sales tax receipts are up in Perryville and Ste. Genevieve

JEFFERSON CITY — Sales tax receipts in both Ste. Genevieve and Perryville continue to lead results from last year, at this point in time.

Ste. Genevieve’s main sales tax is up $36,217.64 over last year’s receipts through November. The total at this point is $679,330.48.

Ste. Genevieve’s two other retail sales taxes show similar increases.

Ste. Genevieve’s consolidated city use tax is down $11,218.36 compared to last year’s figures through November. The total revenue from this tax is $148,016.09 through November.

Perryville’s main sales tax is up $123,199.50 over last year’s receipts through November. The total so far this year is $1,857,465.10.

Perryville’s two other retail sales tax receipts a similar trend.

The Consolidated City Use Tax is up in Perryville, bringing in $32,306.56 more this year, for a total of $355,561.88 through November.
