STE. GENEVIEVE — On Wednesday, December 8th members of the Ste. Genevieve County Democratic Club presented coats, board games and books to the Adopt-A-Family Christmas program through the local University of Missouri Extension Office under the direction of Estrella Carmona.
Democratic Club members from left to right are David Bova, Joan Wilson, Elaine Belovich, and Robert Lord.
The club donated $500, and members donated an additional $500 which enabled them to purchase new coats, board games and books for the children of several families.
They were also able to donate $300 to children in the Foster Care System.
