A graveside service will be held today, Monday, December 13, 2021 for 68-year-old Robbie J. Frech of Baldwin, Illinois, who passed away at 3:54 am, Friday, December 10, 2021 at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Illinois.
He was born September 6, 1953 in Torrance, California, the son of Donald H. and Virginia (nee Hall) Frech. His father preceded him in death. His mother survives in Lenzberg, Illinois.
Robbie married Diane Reheis on March 14, 1994 in Chester, Illinois; she survives.
He is also survived by a son: Devin Frech of Baldwin, Illinois; two sisters: Debbie (Allen) Schwartz of Freeburg, Ill. and Veronica “Roni” (Russell) Suemnicht of New Athens, Ill.; his father and mother in law: Emil and Mary Reheis of Glendale, Ariz.; three siblings in law: Nancy Hartz of Glendale, Ariz., Michael Reheis Glendale, Ariz. and Neal (Tracey) Reheis of Peoria, Ariz.; a niece: Brianna Reheis (fiance Chancey Wages) of Buckeye, Ariz.; three nephews: Derrin “DJ” Steinwagner of Marissa, Ill., Scott Steinwagner of Festus, Mo., and Zachary Reheis of Peoria, Ariz.
He was also preceded in death by a brother: Steve “Moe” Frech.
Robbie had worked at Singer Furnace Company in Red Bud, Illinois, Peabody Coal and retired as a truck driver.
He attended Randolph County Cowboy Church.
Robbie was an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed trap shooting and competitive shooting. He was member of the Friends of the World Shooting Recreational Complex and had been an instructor for the Red Bud High School Trap Shooting Team.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. today, Monday, December 13, 2021 for 68-year-old Robbie J. Frech of Baldwin, Illinois at the Gilbert Cemetery in Ames, Illinois. Pastor Nick Schmidt will officiate.
Memorials may be made in Robbie’s memory to the Gilbert Cemetery Fund at the Pechacek Funeral Home in Red Bud.
