STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve High School has announced FFA member Sophia Fritsch is among the top six students who participated in this year’s Missouri Soil and Water Conservation Public Speaking Contest.

Sophia is a freshman at Ste. Genevieve High School.

She is the daughter of Gerald and Andrea Fritsch.

Sophia presented a speech titled, “Healthy Forest, Healthy Communities,” for which she received first place in the southeast district FFA public speaking contest.

She then competed at the State Soil and Water Conservation State Convention in November and was recognized as one of the top six speakers in the state.
