PERRYVILLE — Filing continues for the municipal and school election in April.
There is now a three way race Perryville mayor. The incumbent, Ken Baer and a challenger, Larry Riney, both filed Tuesday and Kenny Tucker filed on Thursday.
All of the other incumbents at city hall have filed for re-election: Direk L. Hunt for City Marshal, Tom Guth for Alderman Ward 1, Curt Buerck for Alderman Ward 2, Prince E. Hudson for Alderman Ward 3. In addition, Clinton Rice filed for Aldermen Ward 3.
The filings from Perry County School District No. 32 were not available this morning.
There has been no change in the filings for the city of Ste. Genevieve and Ste. Genevieve School District R-II.
Two incumbent Ste. Genevieve Board of Aldermen members have filed for re-election: Joe Prince in Ward 4 and Robert Donovan in Ward 2.
Three newcomers have filed for seats on the Ste. Genevieve R-II Board of Education: Jamie Ballew, Michael Stoll and Larry Pfaff.
Filing ends at 5 p.m. December 28.
