STE. GENEVIEVE – A Ste. Genevieve Middle School student is a runner-up in the 2nd Annual Bill of Rights Day Student Contest.
Seventh grader Cailin Hallin was among other Art 1 and Art 2 students to enter the contest.
Her artwork showed images of a waving flag, the Statue of Liberty, the Liberty Bell, the White House, an eagle, fireworks, and the Pledge of Allegiance. For her efforts she was awarded a $50 Amazon gift card.
The theme of the art contest was The Importance of the Bill of Rights.
Students from 10 states participated (Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin), with over 300 entries submitted.
