The SGCMH Friends Foundation Giving Tree Program is underway

STE. GENEVIEVE, Mo. – The Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital’s Friends Foundation Giving Tree is up and ready in the hospital’s front lobby and residents are invited to fill the tree with ornaments starting now through December 20.

“It’s been a difficult year for many families and it’s so important to stay connected and show loved ones how important they are,” said Sarah Kelley, Executive Director of Human Resources and Support Services. “The Giving Tree provides a way to remember, honor, and celebrate those you love, and many people do that with a gift to support Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital (SGCMH).”

The Giving Tree began in 2003, and has become an annual tradition. Families can purchase an ornament in recognition of new arrivals, military members, loved ones lost, and special family members still living who are important to honor. Proceeds this year, unless earmarked specifically for another purpose by the purchaser, will be used to support the hospital.

Kelley added that if you have lost a loved one this past year, contact the Foundation and a complimentary dove with their name will be placed on the tree. A special listing of all of the giving tree honorees will appear on the hospital’s website and in the holiday issue of the Ste. Genevieve Herald.

Ornaments can be purchased at $15, $30, $50 and $100 levels. If you would like to purchase an ornament to honor or memorialize a loved one contact Sarah Kelley at 573-883-7725 or by email at skelley@sgcmh.org. Secure payments can be made online at stegenevievehospital.org.
