STE. GENEVIEVE – A flame lit walk at the Linden House in Ste. Genevieve will be held the next three Friday night’s from 6-8 p.m.
Guides will lead visitors through a flame lit path in the Hands-On History yard and boxwoods as they learn about French Colonial Christmas customs, culminating in a live performance of a Christmas song at a manger scene, painted by local artist, Jean Rissover.
Enjoy a complimentary photo with your friends and family inside the historic boxwoods, lit up with Christmas lights.
Exit the yard and enter the house and enjoy children’s activities, cookies and cocoa, a craft vendor display, and a story from French Santa Clause, “Pere Noel”
As you leave, take a tractor ride to Sassafras creek to continue the colonial Christmas experience with Christmas Carols and shopping! Then walk the light-kissed streets of Ste. Gen and shop select local stores, open late for the event.
Allée Allumée occurs on Fridays during Christmas from 6-8 p.m. December 3, 10 and 17.
