“With a full roster of 16 participants, the students played valiantly and handled losses good-naturedly,” SGHS Gaming Club sponsor and high school teacher Ian Diamond said. “We want to thank all of those who shared kind words or were supportive of our students in this event. It means a lot to our kids, and to us as sponsors, as well. We would like to share a special thanks to the library staff for accommodating our event and helping to everything up. And we want to share a warm thank you to Iggy Zielinski of Iggy’s Pop Shop for his generous donation of $50 in prizes and for helping to run the event.”
