A funeral will be held Friday, December 3, 2021 for 80-year-old Oscar Joseph Lalumondiere of Ozora, Mo. who passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021 at his home.
He was born July 21, 1941 in Ozora, the son of Olivia (Webery) Lalumondiere and Hugo Lalumondiere who both preceded him in death.
He married Joyce (Lipp) Lalumondiere on November 11, 1961. She survives in Ozora.
He is also survived by two sons: Brian (Pamela) Lalumondiere of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. and Mark (Sonja) Lalumondiere of Front Royal, Virginia; a daughter: Diane (Todd) Huck of Sainte Genevieve; seven grandchildren: Kory (Baili) Huck, Brandon (Nicole) Lalumondiere, Brook Lalumondiere, Malory Huck, Rachel Lalumondiere, Heather Lalumondiere, and Alex Lalumondiere; a great-granddaughter on the way: Mayven Huck; several brothers in-law and sisters in-law; and many nieces, nephews; friends and grand dogs.
He was also preceded in death by his father-in-law: Xavier Lipp and mother-in-law: Teletha Lipp
Oscar was a man of few words at times, but kept his family on their toes with his wit.
Oscar enjoyed spending time at “The Farm” with family and friends, riding his four-wheeler with his sidekick Moose, hunting, fishing, and playing cards.
Oscar lived such a wonderful life surrounded by his wife of 60 years, three children, grandchildren, and many grand dogs.
Visitation will be 8-10 a.m. Friday, December 3, 2021 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ozora.
A funeral mass for -year-old Oscar Joseph Lalumondiere of Ozora will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, December 3, 2021 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ozora. The Rev. James Schaefer will officiate.
Burial will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Ozora.
