Christ Our Savior Lutheran High School FFA participates in events

EVANSVILLE — This past week Christ Our Savior FFA chapter participated in several events.

Section 22 officers held a leadership training school (LTS) for all the FFA chapters in section 22 at Waterloo High School. The evening began with pizza and fellowship. The officers divided the students from each chapter into different groups. The groups moved throughout various stations while building leadership skills, communication skills, listening skills, self esteem and working together as a team.

The officers split the students into small groups. They were handed a bag of cups, bandanas, playing cards and other small objects. Each group had to build their item according to the card in the bag. The different cards were prettiest, fanciest and most creative. The students then had to explain why they thought their’s were pretty, creative or fancy. The officers explained the value the students took in creating those objects and how we should value the people and relationships in our lives.
