JEFFERSON CITY — A 19-year-old Perryville man was hurt in a traffic crash on Route V in Perry County Saturday evening.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Owen J. Versheldon was taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau for treatment of moderate injuries.
The patrol says Versheldon was the driver of a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix which crossed the centerline and struck a 2017 Mazda CX9 driven by 46-year-old Patrick M. Brown, who was not hurt.
The patrol says Versheldon was unrestrained, Brown was buckled up.
The crash happened about 5:45 p.m. in the 1600 block of Route V.
The Grand Priz was a total loss, the Mazda received moderate damage.
