A funeral will be held Saturday, November 13, 2021 for 65-year-old Roger J. Schremp, of Perryville, Missouri who passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
He was born November 11, 1955 in St. Louis, MO to Lester Schremp and Ruth (Welland) Schremp, who both preceded him in death.
He and Nancy (Lix) Schremp were married September 10, 1983 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville. She survives in Perryville.
Survivors also include two daughters: Christina Schremp and Kelsey (Jason) Thieret; two grandchildren: Austin and Aiden Thieret; a cousin: Judi (Kirk Pinson) Arnold; a brother-in-law: Mark (Dorothy) Lix; four sisters-in-law: Susan (Ray) White, Peggy Keliher, Judy (Kenny) Hoehn, and Debbie (Keith) McCrary; and many nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law: Tom Keliher; and his father and mother-in-law: Louis and Metta Lix, Jr.
Roger enjoyed deer hunting and loved spending time with his family.
He was very hard working as a farmer and heavy equipment operator.
He was a member of the Catholic faith and Welfare Fund of Engineers Local No. 513.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, November 12, 2021 and 8-9:40 a.m. Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
A funeral for 65-year-old Roger J. Schremp of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 13, 2021 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville.
Burial will follow at the Yount Community Cemetery in Perryville.
