JEFFERSON CITY — A 46-year-old man from Macks Creek suffered minor injuries in a traffic crash late Thursday morning on Highway 61 in Old Appleton.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Thomas J. Carson was taken to St. Francis Medical Center by ambulance.
The patrol says Carson was the driver of a 2022 Peterbilt which ran off the right side of the roadway. Carson over-corrected and the truck struck a fence and several trees.
The crash happened about 11:05 a.m.
The patrol says Carson was buckled up.
The Peterbilt received minor damage and was towed from the scene.
