Perryville Police report

PERRYVILLE – The Perryville Police Department has released its latest report.

24-year-old Megan L. Elder of St. Mary was cited for driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest by fleeing, fourth degree assault on a special victim and careless and reckless on October 21st. Police say the charges followed their observation of a vehicle jump a curb on West St. Joseph Street near St. Vincent’s Elementary School. The vehicle drove on the sidewalk and then back on to the roadway nearly striking the reporting officer and children who were in the crosswalk. The driver was instructed to pull over, which she did, momentarily before driving off at a high rate of speed. The officer then gave pursuit.

28-year-old Levi B. Lowe of Kansas City was charged with stealing, fourth or subsequent offense within 10 years, and 30-year-old Katie L. Bromley of Perryville was charged with stealing October 22nd following the report of a Samsung tablet being stolen in the 200 block of West Main Street.

29-year-old Brittany A. Cordia of Perryville was arrested on a fugitive warrant out of Jackson after she and another person were observed at a business after hours.

A burglary not in progress was reported in the 500 block of E. Ste. Marie Street October 22nd.

Several vehicles were vandalized on Star Street near the soccer park October 23rd.

A theft was reported in the 2200 block of Plattin Road October 28th.

A bicycle was found in a parking lot in the 400 block of N. Perryville Boulevard October 29.
