Ste. Genevieve County Library invites community to participate in International Games Day

STE. GENEVIEVE — The Ste. Genevieve County Library has announced it will participate in International Games Day Friday, November 12th.

Participants are welcome anytime from 3:30-7 p.m. to come and try out the library’s selection of board games.

Staff will also be available to teach attendees to play popular board games like Settlers of Catan, Zombicide, Star Wars X-Wing as well as the popular card games Magic the Gathering and Pokémon.

All attendees will be entered for a chance to win attendance prizes throughout the evening and a chance to win a copy of the game Ticket to Ride.

All participants will also be given a free game of Rats High Tea at Sea to take home.

This program is perfect for families wanting to get into the board game hobby or learn a new game with experienced players.

Iggy’s Pop Shop will be participating in this program and will have their own walk through on Saturday, November 13th from 2-4 p.m.
