JEFFERSON CITY — Four persons suffered minor injuries in a traffic crash on I-55 in Ste. Genevieve County Sunday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 18-year-old Jacquari H. Danzie of Hazelwood, 18-year-old Amirah F. Douglas of St. Louis, Jasmine M. Peete of Milan, Tenn. and Shaqala L. Hodge of Dolton, Ill. were taken by ambulance to Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The patrol says the crash happened when a northbound 2016 Toyota Rav 4 driven by Danzie ran off the right side of the road, traveled down an embankment and struck a concrete culvert.
The crash happened about 2:17 p.m. at the 151 mile marker.
The patrol says the driver and all passengers were buckled up.
There was extensive damage to the Rav 4.
