PERRYVILLE — Sales tax receipts are up in Perryville.
The Missouri Department of Revenue reports the city’s general revenue sales tax brought in $169,554.29 in September. That was a $4,759.70 increase from September 2020.
So far this calendar year, the tax has brought in $1,540,776.60, which is $118, 194.90 more than the same period last year. That’s an increase of 7.6 percent.
Similar increases were noted in the city’s mass transportation and capital improvements taxes.
Perryville consolidated city use tax brought in $24,578.10 which was up $4,144.33 from the same month last year. So far this year that tax has brought in $278,785.59, an increase of $1,223.35 from the same period last year.
