A funeral will be held Thursday, October 21st, 2021 for 100-year-old Wilma Meta (Weilmuenster) Jones of Bloomsdale, Mo. who passed away Sunday, October 17, 2021
at Riverview At The Park in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
She was born March 17, 1921 in Fayetteville, Ill. the daughter of George Weilmuenster and Adel Weilmuenster who both preceded her in death.
She married Earl Jones February 11, 1950. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sons: Dana (Sherry) Jones of St. Louis, Mo., and Ennis Jones of Hillsboro, Mo.; two granddaughters: Janice Jones and Jennifer Jones, both of Bloomsdale, Mo.; two grandsons: Jason Jones of Bloomsdale, Mo. and Ryan (Brittney) Jones of St. Louis, Mo.; three great-granddaughters: Hannah, Emma, and Lynlee; a great-grandson: Lane and a great-great-grandson: Jason.
She was also preceded in death by two sons: Kevin (Loraine) Jones and Emmett “Craigie” Jones; two sisters: Violet (Tom) Gainey and Vernetta (Ray) Courtois; a brother: George (Melva) Weilmuenster; a daughter-in-law: Pam Jones; and a grandson: Mark Allen Jones.
Wilma was a retired RN and loved to garden, draw, and write books.
Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Thursday, October 21, 2021 at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
A funeral for 100-year-old Wilma Meta (Weilmuenster) Jones of Bloomsdale will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 21, 2021 at the Basler Funeral Home. Chaplain Bart Getz will officiate.
Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Louis, Mo.
