A funeral will be held Saturday, October 16, 2021 for 70-year-old Michael T. Lawrence of Saint Mary, Mo. who passed away Monday, October 11, 2021.
He was born April 1, 1951 in St. Louis, Mo. the son of Vernon Adolph Lawrence and Ruth Lorraine Lawrence, who both preceded him in death.
He is survived by a daughter: Jennifer (Ian) Ghrist of Grapevine, Texas; eight brothers: Paul (Yolanda) Lawrence of Hillsboro, Mo., Dave (Lisa) Lawrence of Minnith, Mo., Stephen (Terri) Lawrence of St. Louis, Mo., Patrick Lawrence of Union, Mo., Eric Lawrence of Augusta, Georgia, Tim Lawrence of House Springs, Mo., Gary (Barb) Lawrence of St. Mary, Mo., and Terry (Dana) Lawrence of Barnhart, Mo.; three sisters: Donna Stevens of Springfield, Ill., Christine Matthes of Cedar Hill, Mo., and Sherri Stehr of Cedar Hill, Mo.; 25 nieces and nephews and 27 great nieces and nephews.
Mike was a jack of all trades and a friend to all.
He was a loving father, an outdoorsman, a carpenter, a favorite uncle, a painter, a mechanic, and so much more.
He loved being outside fishing, hunting, wildlife watching and morel hunting. Fly fishing was his favorite.
Mike was always there for everybody and was willing to help anyone.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, October 15, 2021 and 9-10 a.m. Saturday, October 16, 2021 at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
A funeral for 70-year-old Michael T. Lawrence of Saint Mary will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 16, 2021 at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve. Pastor Ben Chapman will officiate.
