JEFFERSON CITY — A 16-year-old Park Hills girl suffered minor injuries in a traffic crash on I-55 in Perry County Monday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the girl, whose name was not released, was taken to Perry County Memorial Hospital by ambulance.
The patrol says the girl was the driver of a southbound 2007 Chevrolet Aveo which ran off the left side of the roadway and struck a cable barrier. The patrol says the girl was buckled up.
The crash happened about 1:30 p.m. at the 125 mile marker.
The Aveo received extensive damage.
