Missouri Lottery: More than $90.5 Million won in Sept

JEFFERSON CITY — Missouri Lottery players won more than $90.5 million in total prizes in September – this includes winning Draw Games tickets sold and  winning Scratchers tickets claimed during the month.

A Lotto player in Rock Hill won a $5.9 million jackpot on Sept. 1, becoming the largest jackpot winner of 2021 so far.

More than $38.1 million in Lottery proceeds was transferred to Missouri education in September.

The third of four $3 million top prizes in the “300X” Scratchers game was claimed in September, after being purchased in Richmond.

More than 4,000 Pick 3 players matched “1 – 1 – 1” when those numbers were drawn for the Sept. 22 midday drawing. That drawing alone awarded Pick 3 players more than $1.3 million in prizes.

Two winning tickets were sold for the Sept. 5 Show Me Cash drawing, each worth half of the $60,000 jackpot. The two tickets were sold just a few miles from each other in Florissant.

There have now been more than 40 Show Me Cash jackpot winning tickets sold in 2021.

The Missouri Lottery is no longer releasing the names of winners.
