STE. GENEVIEVE — Authorities in Ste. Genevieve report the recovery of a man’s body from the Mississippi River.
Ste. Genevieve County Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Jason Schott said the body was spotted floating in the river near Little Rock Landing Wednesday evening by Tower Rock Stone employees.
Schott said the body has been turned over to County Coroner Eric Basler.
Schott said an autopsy will be conducted sometime this weekend.
