JEFFERSON CITY – Missouri State Highway Patrol Captain Kevin W. Malugen, commanding officer of Troop C, Weldon Spring, announced the following promotions effective September 1, 2024:
Sergeants Andrew F. Cheaney, Troop E, and Dwade F. Isringhausen, Troop C, have been promoted to the rank of lieutenant and will serve as a members of Troop C command staff.
Cheaney was appointed to the Patrol in January 2001, as a member of the 78th Recruit Class.
Upon graduation from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy in Jefferson City, he was assigned to Troop C, Zone 13, Jefferson County. In October 2007, he transferred to the Gaming Division and remained there until 2011, when he transferred to Troop E, Zone 13, Iron/Madison counties.
In May 2014, he was promoted to corporal and designated assistant zone supervisor of Zone 7, Scott/Mississippi/New Madrid counties. Cheaney was promoted to sergeant in January 2017, and designated zone supervisor of Zone 13, Iron/Madison counties.
Cheaney was born in Farmington, MO. He graduated from Arcadia Valley High School in 1997. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, MO, in 2004.
Isringhausen was appointed to the Patrol on January 3, 2011, as a member of the 93rd Recruit Class.
Upon graduation from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy in Jefferson City, he was assigned to Troop C, Zone 2, North St. Louis County. In February 2016, he was promoted to corporal and designated assistant zone supervisor of Zone 2. Isringhausen was promoted to sergeant in December 2018, and designated zone supervisor of Zone 14, St. Francois/Washington counties.
Isringhausen was born in Alton, IL. He graduated from East Alton-Wood River High School in 2007. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from College of the Ozarks in Point Lookout, MO, in 2010.
