Tennessee woman hurt in I-55 crash

JEFFERSON CITY — A 39-year-old Germantown, Tenn. woman received minor injuries in a traffic crash on I-55 in Perry County Monday afternoon.

 

Missouri State Highway Patrol Corporal C.A. Groves reported the woman was taken to Mercy Hospital Perry by Perry County Ambulance.

 

Corp. Groves says the crash happened when a southbound 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe driven by the woman ran off the left side of the roadway and struck the median cable barrier.

 

The woman was buckled up.

 

The Santa Fe had extensive damage and was towed by Perry County Towing.

 

The crash happened about 12:44 p.m. at the 127 mile marker.
