EMINENCE – The Shannon County Sheriff is thanking the sheriff of Perry County for assisting in the apprehension of a Perryville resident.

Sheriff Steven Hogan says the suspect: Danny Boyer was arrested in Perryville on a charge of failing to register as a sex offendor and also on charges out of Howell County. Boyer’s bond was set at $80,000 in all.
Sheriff Hogan stated, “I would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the South Central Drug Task Force (SCDTF) and the Perry County Sheriff’s Office for their invaluable assistance in bringing Danny Boyer to justice. Their hard work has not only helped clean up Shannon County but has also contributed to making Missouri a safer and better place to live.”
He went to say the Shannon County Sheriff’s Office is committed to working 24/7 to take service calls and proactively seek out criminals. Our primary goal is to ensure the safety and well-being of our citizens, especially those impacted by sex crimes committed by individuals who fail to register. We remain steadfast in our mission to bring offenders to justice and protect our communities.”
