NEW BUSINESS

PROCUREMENT OF SNOW PLOW TRUCK REPLACEMENT

Alderman Zenon Duda stated that all the Plow Truck that we have is in need of costly repairs and the money would be a waste to fix the truck. The truck that we have now the hydraulics are out that operates the plow and the salt spreader and the breaks and the power steering is also out. During the last meeting the Board of Alderman made the decision to remove the plow truck from our fleet and get a newer plow/spreader truck. Mayor Adam Bequette has been looking into different plow/ spreader trucks. He also contacted the Bank so see what our rates would be for a loan to pay for a new truck. The rates depend on the amount of money that the truck will be. We also plan on putting the truck on purple wave and using that money to help purchase a newer vehicle.

A motion was made by Alderman Zenon Duda and seconded by Alderman Kathy Bergmann for the procurement of snow plow truck replacement.  Roll call was as follows:  Alderman Zenon Duda, Alderman Kathy Bergmann, Alderman Brian Helms all voted aye for the procurement of snow plow truck replacement.

ANY OTHER BUSINESS BROUGHT BEFORE THE BOARD

Wyatt Saylor was in attendance of the meeting. He asked what he needed to do to be able to move into 804 Fourth Street. City Clerk April Grindstaff told him that he needed an occupancy permit and meter deposit for the water meter. Alderman Zenon Duda asked Mr. Saylor if he knew anything about the propane tanks that were stolen from the property and the was a motorcycle that was removed without permission. Mr. Saylor stated that he thought whatever was left on the property was his after the other people moved out. Mayor Adam Bequette stated that the items better come back.

There being no further business before the board, a motion was by Alderman Zenon Duda and seconded by Alderman Kathy. Three Aldermen voted Aye.   Meeting adjourned at 6:45 PM.
