Kent Jaylon Kinchen, 36, of Perryville, Missouri passed away Monday, January 6, 2025 at his residence.
He was born November 29, 1988 to Barry Kinchen and Karen (Kendrick) Vaughn.
Kent and Lisa (Schumer) Kinchen were married August 22, 2024 at Perryville, MO. She survives him in Perryville.
He was a member of First Harvest Ministry in Waveland, Mississippi.
Kent enjoyed all sports and was a beautiful singer. He was a praise and worship leader for First Harvest Ministry. He was currently persuing a degree in HVAC at Ranken Technical Institute. Kent is now a resting Israelite, awaiting his victorious resurection.
Survivors include his wife; his parents; step-father Shane Vaughn; step-mother, Xiuchun Kinchen; two step-sons, Phillip (Angela) Schumer, Ethan (Sharmaine) Schumer; three step-daughters, Rebekah Schumer, Katie (Dillion Hudson) Clifton, Isabelle Schumer; three step-brothers, Andrew (Relita) Vaughn, Nicholas (Alyssa) Vaughn, Branham Vaughn; step-grandchildren, Kara Schumer, Atticus Schumer, and one on the way (Leia Schumer); grandparents, Frank & Wanda Kendrick; father and mother-in-law Lawrence and Connie Schumer.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Dewitt Sr & Eleonor “Howes” Kinchen.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Ford & Young Funeral Home and will continue from 8:00 am to 10:00 am on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at the funeral home.
Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
Burial will be at Home Cemetery.
