Girls Basketball
JACKSON – Two members of the Saxony Lutheran Girl’s Basketball Team have received post-season honors.
Evie Caruso was named to the Alll SEMO Conference 2022-2023 Girls Basketball Team.
Caruso was also named to the MBCA All District Class 4 District 1 Team.
Ashlyn Mueller was named to the MBCA Cadamic All-State Team.
Baseball
PERRYVILLE – St. Vincent plays at Grandview today.
STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve hosts Malden today at 4:30 for a varsity only contest weather permitting.
STE. GENEVIEVE – Valle won at Jefferson 7-1.
The Warriors play Oran at 1:30 and Ellington 4 p.m. at Ellington weather permitting.
PERRYVILLE – Perryville plays at Charleston at 6:30 tonight, weather permitting.
CHESTER – Chester host Frankfort today at 4:30, weather permitting.
Softball
STE. GENEVIEVE – Valle hosts Ste. Genevieve Monday at 4:30.
STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste Genevieve and Bismarck were cancelled Thursday. They will make it up April 3 as part of a double header.
CHESTER – Chester plays at Pinckneyville Saturday at 11 a.m. as part of a round robin tournament.
Track and Field
STE. GENEVIEVE – Valle runs at Park Hills Central in the Rebel Relays, weather permitting.
PERRYVILLE – Perryville travels to Festus Saturday at 9 a.m. weather permitting.
STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve also travels to Festus Saturday.
JACKSON – Saxony Lutheran also travels to Festus Saturday.
CHESTER — The Chester track team hosts the Chester open at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
Soccer
JACKSON – Saxony Lutheran plays Poplar Bluff today in the SEMO Soccer Classic.
PERRYVILLE – St. Vincent plays in the SEMO Soccer Classic today.
PERRYVILLE – Perryville won the season opener 8-0 over St Louis Patriots
but the win came with a big price, Ashlynd Yamitz suffered a bad ankle sprain.
But the teams is just happy it wasn’t broken.
The bad thing was we were winning 6-0 when this happened right at the half mark.
No reason for that to happen and no call on the play.
The main thing is Ash will be ok.
We are a team who cares for all the members and hate to see one of us hurting in anyway.
Back at it on Monday home opener at 5 against Farmington varsity only.
Golf
STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve plays in the North County Tournament at 9 a.m. Wednesday.
The JV Dragons play in the Windsor JV Tournament Monday at 8 a.m.
PERRYVILLE – The varsity Pirates play Wednesday at the North County Tournament 9 a.m.
Perryville’s Junior Varsity plays at Windsor JV Tournament Monday at 8 a.m.
JACKSON – Saxony Lutheran lost to Poplar Bluff at Bent Creek 206-155.
The Crusaders play Cape Central, Jackson and Notre Dame in the Saxony Quad at 3 p.m. at Bent Creek Wednesday.
PERRYVILLE – St. Vincent plays Festus and Jefferson Tuesday at 3:30.
