Jackie Floyd Estes, 90, of Perryville, Missouri passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023 at the Missouri Veteran’s Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born October 18, 1932 in Cape Girardeau, MO to Floyd and Hazel (Cowlan) Estes.
Jackie and Shirley Yamnitz were married on January 2, 1987 in Kelso, MO. She preceded him on March 4, 2014.
He served in The United States Air Force during the Korean War.
He worked as an Upholsterer.
Jackie was of the Pentecostal Faith.
He was a member of the American Legion Post #133. He loved cars and enjoyed doing maintenance on them.
Survivors include two brothers, Carl Estes, Lloyd Estes; two sisters, Mary Nichless, Becky (Jimmy) Miles and by numerous family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; two sisters, Arnell Carbaugh, Shirleen Dalton; three brothers, Donnie Estes, Kim Estes, Charles Sonny Estes.
A private service will be held for Jackie’s family.
Burial will be at Yount Community Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.
