- LOUIS – Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri invites customers across the region to celebrate the annual National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend, taking place March 3-5. National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend marks a time when America’s beloved cookies are widely available across the US and reminds customers that each purchase supports their local Girl Scouts.
Girl Scouts use cookie funds to pay for invaluable experiences such as attending camp, going on fun field trips and spearheading community service projects. As customers open their favorite box of Girl Scout Cookies, they simultaneously open new doors for girls in their community to explore their leadership potential, build lifelong friendships and make the world around them a better place.
By participating in the Girl Scout Cookie Program, Girl Scouts gain essential life and leadership skills as they build their business acumen, discover the power of marketing and learn the value of money. As always, 100% of the proceeds stay local, powering life-changing experiences for Girl Scouts in our communities.
“Purchasing Girl Scout Cookies helps support local Girl Scouts and opens up more opportunities for them,” said Laela Gaines, Girl Scout Cadette. “When we participate in cookie booths, it gives us the chance to interact with the people in our community and make connections and sometimes even friends with those we may not otherwise have met. It lets us show how girls can work together and take care of business, while having fun.”

- Until March 12, Girl Scouts will host cookie booths at participating public locations around eastern Missouri. Visit girlscoutsem.org/cookies and enter your ZIP code to find the cookie booths near you.
- Until March 19, visit girlscoutsem.org/cookies and enter a ZIP code to find a troop to support with a direct shipped order.
Through Project Thank You, customers can purchase a $5 box of cookies for direct donation to our nonprofit partners, USO of Missouri and Operation Food Search.
Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri’s 2023 cookie line-up includes Adventurefuls™, Lemon-Ups®, Trefoils®, Thin Mints®, Samoas®, Tagalongs® and Do-si-dos all for $5 a package. Also available are Toffee-tastics® and S’mores™, which are $6 a package.
