Jerry Royal Dickison

Jerry Royal Dickison, 25, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri passed away Saturday, February 18, 2023 at his residence.

 

He was born March 19, 1997 in Ketchikan, AK to Jay Dickison and Pamela Swink-Lockhart.

 

He was an Advanced Technician for Lawless Harley-Davidson.

 

He loved Harley Davidsons. He was a member of the Raven, Beaver, Dog Salmon of Alaskan Native Tlingit Tribe. He loved playing records and spending time with friends, playing video games, especially “the last of us” and “call of duty”. Jerry had an incredible sense of humor with the kind of laugh that lit up a room. His infectious smile, bear hugs, and love for making people laugh will keep him alive and in our hearts forever.

 

Jerry is survived by his son, Jay Neal Dickison of New Britian, CT; former wife Benideliz Canales-Salgado of New Britain, CT; father, Jay Neal Dickison of Perryville, MO; step-mother, Kim Moran-Dickison of Perryville, MO; mother, Pamela Swink-Lockhart of Prince of Wales, AK; step-father, James Lockhart of Prince of Wales, AK; four sisters, Kathryn Swink of Ketchikan, AK, Candice (Andrew) Dickison-Young of Pocatello, ID, Cindy Dickison-Cragun of Perryville, MO; Jaylene Dickison of Perryville, MO; step-sister, Nichole Pashia-Trevino of Festus, MO; cousin, Tom Ray Dickison; nine nieces and nephews, Ryan, Parker Jay, Aiden, Yulana, Zella, Dylan, Gabby, Ryker, Jordyn; grandparents Jerry & Barbara Dickison of Perryville, MO, James Swink of Ketchikan, AK, Linda Moran of Perryville, MO.

 

He was preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Frances Douville-Swink; grandfather, Robert Moran; niece Mia Valence Hammond; cousin, Aaron Dixon.

 

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, February 24, 2023 and on Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.

 

Funeral Service will be at 12:00 pm Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville with Pastor Gerold McBride officiating.

 

Private burial for the family will be held at a later date.
