A funeral will be held Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2023 for 51-year-old Kim L. White of Chester, Illinois, who passed away at 1:34 pm, Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Memorial Hospital, Chester, Illinois.
She was born to Donald and Freida (nee Lee) McKinney on May 25, 1971 in Pinckneyville, Illinois.
Kim married Bob White on November 28, 2003 in Albuquerque, New Mexico; he survives.
She had worked as a certified nurses assistant for many years and was a homemaker.
Kim was of the Baptist faith.
She enjoyed camping and boating and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband: Bob White of Chester, Ill.; his mother: Frieda McKinney of Murphysboro, Ill.; three children: Felica (Kyle) Sudmeyer of Walsh, Ill., Derek McKinney of Florida
and Austin (Amelyn) White of Ruma, Ill.; three siblings: Robbie (Suki) Roedersheimer of Florida,
Rita (Randy) Newfarmer of Murphysboro, Ill. and Michelle (Rob) Ellenberg of Arizona and four grandchildren: Konner, Karson, Ethan and Elijah
She was preceded in death by her father: Donald McKinney.
Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Chester, Illinois
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2023 and 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at the Pechacek Funeral Homes in Chester, Illinois.
