A funeral will be held Friday, Jan. 20, 2023 for 73-year-old John “Jackie” White of Festus who passed away Jan. 11, 2023, at his home.
He was born May 22, 1949, in Ste. Genevieve, the son of the late Genieve and Herbert White.
He is survived by his wife: Loretta White of Festus; a son: Colby White of St. Charles; a brother: Jerome White of Crystal City; a sister: Virginia Marshall of Crystal City; and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by a son: Kevin White; and three brothers: Herbert White Jr., David White and Milton White.
Mr. White was a security director for Professional Security Consultants and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Crystal City.
He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals, Boston Celtics and Rams football fan.
Visitation is scheduled from 3-7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19 at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Ave., in Festus.
A funeral service for 73-year-old John “Jackie” White of Festus will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 20, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Crystal City, officiated by Father Matthew Cheruparambil.
Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Crystal City.
