Charles Morland Bullock

Visitation will be held Saturday, December 3, 2022 for 79-year-old Charles Morland Bullock of Perryville, Mo. who passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at his home.

 

He was born February 12, 1943 in Chester, Ill. a son of Charles Morland, Sr. and Ella Ethel (Sims) Bullock who both preceded him in death.

 

He married Nancy Stark February 6, 1999 in Nashville, Tenn.

 

Survivors include his first wife: Monna Bullock; three daughters: Angela (Stan) Dzik of Perryville, Mo., Christa (James) Buatte of San Obispo, Calif., and Jennifer (Addam) Mehrer of Chester, Ill.; a son: Charles (Natalie) Bullock III of Azle, Tex.; two step-daughters: Paula (Keith) Schnurbusch of Perryville, Mo., and Amy (Aaron) Winkler of Perryville, Mo.; two step-sons: Chad (Amanda) Winkler of Perryville, Mo., and Dustin (Ashley) Winkler of Perryville, Mo.; 20 grandchildren: Jacob (Lani) and Aaron Dzik (fiance Sara), Brittany (Jaxon) Schumer, Christian, Garrett, Madison, and Scarlett Buatte, Aaden and Carsen Mehrer, Kaleb, Kaitlyn, Trevor, Addilyn, and Alexsyn Schnurbusch, Kaylie and Lily Thieret, Wyatt and Olivia Winkler, Chase and Sylvia Winkler; three great-grandchildren, Wilson and Rowan Dzik, Grey Buatte; brother-in-law, Darby Downey.

 

He was also preceded in death by three sisters: Yvette Downey, Bernadine White, and Flodine Wright.

 

He served in the National Guard in Carson, Colo. and Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.

 

He was cable repairman for Southwestern Bell, later known as AT&T.

 

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Perryville and the American Legion Post No.133.

 

He was the world’s biggest Dallas Cowboys fan and had a library of home movies.

 

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.

 

Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Chester.

 

Memorial contributions may be given to the First Baptist Church of Perryville or Telecom Pioneers.
