Lloyd J. Stern, 77, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 1:04 pm, Sunday, August 28, 2022 at his residence.
He was born to the late Floyd and Martha (nee Epplin) Stern on August 10, 1945 in Red Bud, Illinois.
Lloyd married Linda Sroka on April 29, 1972 in Pinckneyville, Illinois; she survives.
He had worked as a Quality Assurance Manager at Gilster Mary-Lee in Steeleville, Illinois for over 30 years.
Lloyd was a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Chester, Illinois. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus #3790 in Chester and the Breezy Hill RC Flying Club in Chester. Lloyd and Linda were members of Marriage Encounter for over 40 years and treasure the close friends they made through M.E. Lloyd loved spending time with his family.
He was a United States Air Force Veteran.
