JEFFERSON CITY — A 17-year-old Farmington youth suffered moderate injuries in a pick up crash on Saline Creek Road Tuesday evening in Ste. Genevieve County.
The Missouri Highway Patrol reports the youth, whose name was not disclosed, was taken to SSM Health St. Louis University Hospital by an Air Evac Helicopter.
The patrol says the youth was a passenger in a 1998 Toyota Tacoma driven by 18-year-old Elijah Wann, also of Farmington.
The patrol says the crash happened when the westbound Tacoma ran off the left side of Saline Creek Road then returned to the road and overturned.
The patrol says Wann was unrestrained but the youth was buckled up.
The crash happened about 8:25 p.m. east of Cave Road.
