Janet S. Louveau, 81, of Evansville, Illinois, passed away at 9:32 am, Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at St. Francis Medical Center, Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
She was born to the late C. Carlos and Agnes (nee Beveridge) Word on August 13, 1940 in Oakdale, Illinois.
Janet married Albert J. Louveau on October 29, 1960 at St. Pius V Catholic Church, Walsh, Illinois; he preceded her in death on November 13, 1989.
She worked at Spartan Printing in Sparta, Illinois for over 25 years. Then she worked in home healthcare for Clarice Healthcare in Steeleville, Illinois.
She was a member of St. Pius V Catholic Church, Walsh, Illinois. She enjoyed making baby quilts, cross word puzzles, embroidering and making scrapbooks. She was working on a recipes book of old family recipes.
She will be remembered as a kind, good hearted and thoughtful woman.
